Introduction

The long-term goal of SENSA AGRI Sarl is to become the beacon of Animal Farming operations in Senegal. Agricultural is the main source of employment and food supply and therefore holds the key to poverty alleviation and food security.

We plan to be more than just a farming operation. We would like to create jobs, business opportunities, education and social security for all who will be part of our project directly or indirectly. We would like to unlock the unique opportunities lying hidden in Senegal’s future and to be a unique farming operation, helping the poor help themselves.

The Company

SENSA AGRI Sarl was established in December 2015 and is an Agricultural business which specializes in arable & animal production, www.sensaagri.com

The company is owned by Richard Belcher and is managed and have a reliable team to satisfy our customers, suppliers and investors requirements.

Our social responsibility, (CSR) “helping the local farmers to help themselves” by transforming from sustainable farmers into commercial farming businesses.

SENSA Agri imports and breed premium South African livestock to Senegal, including sheep, goats, cattle, poultry, and pigs. We work with state-of-the-art genetics and a high-quality feeding program. Up to date, we have imported a total of 1150 animals to Senegal.

Background

The history of SENSA Agri, originated from the idea of servicing the communities and enjoying farming as a way of living. Our team have a professional approach and are experts in their individual fields. The team understand farming, production, packing, marketing and the finance of such an operation.

The Belcher family are born pioneers and have developed farms in Africa for over 6 generations. Pursuing new ventures is in our blood and we are excited to fulfil our childhood dreams, through both Agricultural and Social impact with SENSA Agri here in Senegal, West Africa. We have 3 children, a boy and 2 girls, of which the 2 youngest was born here in Dakar, Senegal. Farming and pioneering is in our Family blood for Generations. Creating something out of nothing and make it work is what we thriving in.
